Luis Hidalgo

19 JULIO - 22 AGOSTO 2025

JUNE 7TH TO JULY 5TH 2025

"Like the cave paintings Ana saw in the Serra da Capivara in Brazil, everything here stems from a drive that is more vital than aesthetic. We are faced with marks that managed to slip through the folds of life itself." —Excerpt from a text by María Minera for the exhibition Notas Sueltas.

Camilo Restrepo

MARCH 1st 2024 - APRIL 5th 2025

An exhibition by artist Camilo Restrepo with work produced ex-profeso during his residency at the fundación/op.cit. in Mexico City. The work was originally made directly on walls, whose pictorial layer was later removed from the site where it was conceived through a specialized restoration technique, to be shown now as a transportable mural. The work is a multidimensional set of narrative plots, woven between the culture wars of contemporary art, popular culture, viral appropriations of media iconographies, vernacular humor and Colombian and international politics.
