"Like the cave paintings Ana saw in the Serra da Capivara in Brazil, everything here stems from a drive that is more vital than aesthetic. We are faced with marks that managed to slip through the folds of life itself."

An exhibition by artist Camilo Restrepo with work produced ex-profeso during his residency at the fundación/op.cit. in Mexico City. The work was originally made directly on walls, whose pictorial layer was later removed from the site where it was conceived through a specialized restoration technique, to be shown now as a transportable mural. The work is a multidimensional set of narrative plots, woven between the culture wars of contemporary art, popular culture, viral appropriations of media iconographies, vernacular humor and Colombian and international politics.
