The structural video work Spring Water, Fault, Body (湧き⽔と断層と身体) (2021) is a performance piece. (...) the artist's voice reading aloud the memories of her father –a scientist involved in the field of nuclear power engineering.– narrated through the actions of the artist, who became a mother during it's creation (...) This reading aloud is a performance act that imagines new subjects, including non-human, to transcend the concept of the "individual" brought about by modernity.
