BUY is a tribute to American filmmaker John Carpenter and his 1988 film They Live.
In it, an alien organization controls the media and manipulates the
inhabitants of Earth with hidden messages. BUY is an editorial piece that plays with the media
and its impact on the public.
The piece consists of several devices, among them this publication that recreates the props used
in the film, but also uses the assembly and marketing with which the project is offered. The
author is
a designer and graphic artist and printer.
